Q:  Can you set different PK parameters for individual subjects and then do PD fits with a population model?

 

A: Yes, this was shown as part of the demo in the webinar. Please download the materials and look at the object: Built_in_Model_pop. The steps that you need to perform are:

  1. use CL and V as covariates  covariate1.png
  2. call them CLind and Vind  covariate2.png
  3. switch to Graphical Editing Mode and insert 2 procedures:
    • Proc1: Ke = CLind/Vind  proc1.png
    • Proc2: V = Vind  proc2.png
  4. In graphical editing mode
    • connect Ke from Proc1 with Ke in the flow between central and elimination compartment
    • connect V from Proc2 with V in central compartment
  5. The resulting model should look like this:
