Hi,

Can someone give me an idea on how the option "Dosepts" is used in the graphical modeling routine?

This option has 3 choices: 0, 1, 2 and split.

Lets say I have a controlled release product and I think the profile can be fitted with a mixture model of 0 order and 1 st order absorption, do I use Dosepts to indicate the that there are two absorption components (So in the option menu i would have dosept 1 and 2?

If my assumption is correct then what is the difference between this and setting up two separate absorption components (The inverted triangle symbol) in graphical modeling

Thanks

John

The split option will allow you to use one column instead of two so it saves you from having to have two columns with the same amount of dose to do the split

You will notice that Aa will become Aa* and then the ui will allow you to have specific option for each split
