Hi guys,

 

I have a quick question regarding publishing of slope settings: is this still possible in WNL8.1?

 

We used to use this option for our NCA analyses in WNL6.2.1 but in WNL8.1 the button is grey and can't be clicked.

HI Mark, you are correct that the publish source for slope settings is no longer available in 8.x in the Set up tab.  However the Results work sheet can be copied to the data folder if required, althoigh generally I recommend to keep this useage to a minimum since it disconnects this sheet from the workflow and it won't be automatically updated if data changes.

it would be better if you have to make some edits to it to use a Data Wizard, and if you aren't changing it, then just map the results sheet directly to where needed.

Copying the slope settings from the results tab will be a good alternative. I agree that copies to the data folder are not automatically updated when data changes but this was the same for the publishing of slopes option.

It fits for the purpose so it will work for us.
