Hi,

till at least v8.1.1 (I skipped v8.2.x) there was a folder docs containing the release notes and pdf-manuals. Furthermore, in Help (below Contents) there was a line Documents ►. Missing in 8.3.4. Previously in any object hitting F1 opened the Windows help. In some objects nothing in 8.3.4 cause the folder application\Help is missing. Sometimes I get

Message:
Phoenix has encountered an unexpected error.
You can continue but it is suggested that you do not save over your
originally loaded projects to prevent data loss.

The request was canceled: no protected SSL/TLS channel could be created.

Since I’m on a German Windows, the last line is my translation.

Now what?

PS @Mods: Posted in the wrong category – can you please move it?

 Best regards,
Helmut

Hi Helmut, sorry only just saw this ahd have now moved it. I'm not sure I understand all of your question.

Help> Contents will take you to https://onlinehelp.c.../8.3/index.html

then last link under General INformation on right will take you to the PDFs if you need them;

https://onlinehelp.c...e!/PDF_list.htm

Simon.

Simon.

Yep. The first works only if you are online (contrary to the previous releases). F1 was very comfortable cause it was context-sensitive. Of course, I downloaded all the goodies.

 Best regards,
Helmut
