Sometimes a model becomes stuck for a while (>5-10 minutes) at an iteration, after many iterations. Note this is with standard error calculation turned off. Is there a way to distinguish if the model is stuck or if something else is going on?
As an aside, I've noticed that changing initial estimates can result in the same model proceeding to completion. Are there other ways to troubleshoot a model that becomes stuck after many iterations?
