I just ran a 2 compartment model and added a Table using Run Options tab. Variables allows me to select CL, V, CL2, V2 etc.

The table seemed to be generated fine until I scrolled down and found some of the CL2 values were 2800 L/hr!!!? My initial estimate is 200 L/hr with an upper bound of 500 L/hr. Why is this occurring and is there a way for me to get individual parameter estimates? Dear Lisa Liao

When you put boundaries in fixeed effects, it applies only to the mean values of the mdoel parameters. If youm put upper bound of 500, the theta (mean) for Cl2 will not be over 500. However there is no constraint about the individual model parameters. Since the variance of Cl2 is very large, you get some very large Cl2 values.

Best Regards;

Serge
