Has anyone used the PKS 3.1 web interface with IE8? If so, have you noticed any issues?

Internally at Pharsight there are people (including myself) using IE 8 with PKS 3.1 during testing etc. and as far as I can tell, there were no issues.

Richard - to supplement Peter's comment. We have made a note (QC_PKS1421) that since IE 8's default behavior uses/re-uses the same session between tabs you may get some unpredictable interactions if you connect to the same PKS URL in multiple windows or tabs.

If you do want to open another connection to the same URL, use "File-New Session", not "File-New Window" or "File-New Tab".

  Simon.

Simon,
Thanks for the information. I also found that you can use the "nomerge" switch (e.g., iexplore.exe –nomerge) to launch IE 8 in a new session. When this is done, multiple IE 8 windows do not share data. Posted Image
