Hi,

I have a technical question regarding occasion-type covariates in NLME. I see that you can select covariates to implement IOV but could you give me precisions regarding the "Occ.Name" and "Value" options? What should be put there so the different dosing occasions are understood properly?

Thanks,

Pierre-Olivier

Hi, Bonjour,

Suppose you have an occasion variable in you dataset with values 1 ,2 ,3 ,4 ( corresponding to different visits or weeks or,...)

You define that you have an occasion covariate and in covariate type you define how many categories you have and what are the values and labels.

you can have the label the same as the value

1 1

2 2

3 3

4 4

The occasion variable is read from the dataset and it is up to the user to have it reflecting what he wants if you want each dose to be an occasion then your occasion should change with the new dose.

Bests,
