Hello,

Can I use AIC or BIC to compare identical models that used FOCE-I for one run and QRPEM for another run?

Can I use AIC or BIC to compare non-nested models?

Thanks,

Erik

Erik,

I checked with our dev team and they confirmed:

it is not feasible to compare the -2LL given by different algorithms (QRPEM and FOCE) due to different methods of LL compuation.

However, you can use AIC or BIC to compare non-nested models, provided the same engine with the same options are used.

Hope, this helps.

Bernd
