Hi it appears you have already asked this of Support as Case  155687

Unless necessary I would ask that you don't ask the same question in two places, this does indeed appear to be a support issue as it's a rather rare message (never seen it before myself).  I see my colleague already sent you a suggestion;

'error message is very special since you trying to load a legacy file from a shared drive.

Please change file location to fix this problem:
Try copying pwofile to the local hard drive first before importing it.'

Please let us & Supprt know if this corrects the problem, thanks  Simon.

Balaji, I don't understand why you can't respond to the support desk?  If you want support then you need to be able to reply to their emails, or email them directly; Pharsight.Support@certara.com

that said if you can attach or email me the PWO I can try to open it on my machine to see if it's a problem with your file, or your installation; have you tried to open any of the files from C:\Program Files (x86)\Pharsight\Phoenix\application\Examples\Legacy WinNonlin

 Simon.
